"Matthew Lloyd Architects has worked with Rushby Builders Ltd. on several projects over the last 5 years, ranging in a scale of construction costs from £100,000 to £750,000, and working on a traditional contract basis as well as on a Design and Build contract basis for both refurbishment and new build housing projects.  In most cases, the client has been Sanctuary Housing Association.

We consider their work to be of a consistently high standard with good site management and quality of workmanship, as well as efficient office-based support, including for cost surveying.  In mny cases, these contracts have been delivered ahead of contract and below budget.

We find the hands-on management approach of Bill Rushby extremely helpful towards the resolution of construction issues, with particular reference to the obvious difficulties of working with existing buildings.  Additionally, Rushby Builders Ltd. are characterised by the fact that they themselves employ time-served operatives, many of whom we have got to know over the years as good and skilled workmen.
