31a Christie Road, London E9Complete demolition of Victorian terraced property, site clearance, grubbing up of footings, etc. Complete new construction of dwelling to match the existing style, whilst retaining and providing temporary support to the adjacent properties. As none of the existing property is to be retained the construction works will be in line with a new build project and therefore all trades and activities involved with a new build will be appropriate. This will be apart from the scaffold designer who will be engaged to design temporary support for the adjacent properties until the construction is in place to provide necessary support as originally designed. In undertaking the design, Matthew Lloyd Architects have considered Health & Safety along with future maintenance of the property as a key stage of the design process. Through this process along with planning considerations, traditional construction methods have been employed along with the selection of common place building materials widely used in the construction industry.
